作为福朋喜来登品牌的首个存量建筑改造项目，昆明东风广场福朋喜来登酒店的诞生被赋予了双重使命：突破传统办公楼转型的桎梏；且在不足一年的周期内，以严控造价的策略实现从“功能性空间”到“城市精品酒店”的蜕变。

As the first adaptive reuse project under the Four Points by Sheraton brand, Four Points by Sheraton Kunming Dongfeng Square Hotel was entrusted with a dual mission: to break through the limitations of conventional office-building conversions, and to transform a purely functional space into a refined urban boutique hotel within less than a year, while maintaining strict control over project costs.

面对原始建筑蓝图纸数据缺失、结构复杂的挑战，设计团队以“边拆除边设计”的动态策略推进工程，通过现场多次复核管井结构、评估抗震系数等，结合消防规范与在地文化基因，将一栋沉睡的办公楼重塑为兼具现代美学与人文温度的旅居空间。

Faced with the challenges of missing original architectural drawings and a complex existing structure, the design team adopted a dynamic “design-as-you-demolish” approach, advancing the project through continuous on-site investigation and refinement. By repeatedly verifying shaft configurations, assessing structural and seismic performance, and integrating fire safety requirements with local cultural narratives, the team successfully transformed a dormant office building into a hospitality destination that balances contemporary aesthetics with a strong sense of place and human warmth.

针对周边居民楼与逃生梯的视觉干扰，设计师通过几何线条的切割重塑与绿植的穿插美化，将原本杂乱的轮廓转化为立体化的艺术装置。入口区域新增小花园景观区与停车区，则以“城市绿洲”的姿态，模糊了建筑与街道的边界，成为宾客抵达时的第一重仪式感。

To mitigate visual disruptions from adjacent residential buildings and exposed fire escape staircases, the design team employed geometric segmentation and integrated greenery to reinterpret the façade—transforming once chaotic outlines into a sculptural, three-dimensional art installation.At the entrance, a newly introduced pocket garden and parking area take on the character of an “urban oasis,” softening the boundary between architecture and street while creating a layered sense of arrival and a welcoming first impression for guests.

酒店大堂公区以“复古工业风”为基底，以简约的线条勾勒秩序之美，复古精致灯具与井然有序的做旧金属网在暖调光源下泛着温润光泽，酒店公区走廊背景墙上悬挂的昆明老街景艺术画，悄然将宾客引入一座城市的记忆长河。这种看似“未完成感”的设计语言，暗合福朋喜来登品牌“探索精神”的内核，让空间成为一座连接过去与未来的桥梁。

The hotel’s lobby and public areas embrace a retro-industrial aesthetic, where clean lines, vintage-inspired lighting, and aged metal mesh create a warm yet refined atmosphere. Artworks depicting historic Kunming streetscapes along the corridors subtly connect guests to the city’s cultural heritage.

This intentionally understated design language echoes the exploratory spirit of the Four Points by Sheraton brand, creating a seamless dialogue between the past and the present.

穿过光影交织的廊道，大堂吧如同一处隐于喧嚣的暗调剧场。设计以“复古工业的精致解构”为笔触，黑色铁艺框架与不同材质的家具围合出开放松弛的摩登社交环境。

Passing through a corridor layered with light and shadow, guests arrive at the lobby lounge—an intimate retreat amid the city's bustle. Drawing on a refined interpretation of retro-industrial style, the space combines black metal framing with a curated mix of materials and furnishings, creating an open, relaxed, and contemporary social setting.

从大堂通往电梯间的走廊，仿若一条被精心雕琢的时光隧道。粗犷的红砖墙面铺陈出工业美学的底色，其上悬挂的昆明建筑艺术画——从铁路博物馆的藏品到昆明老街的建筑剪影——以黑白影像与历史笔触交织，将城市记忆凝固为墙上的诗行。

The corridor connecting the lobby to the elevator hall unfolds like a carefully curated passage through time. Exposed red brick walls establish an industrial-inspired backdrop, while a collection of architectural artworks depicting Kunming—from the historic railway museum to the silhouettes of old-town streets—brings the city's heritage to life. Through monochrome imagery and historical narratives, these pieces transform the corridor into a gallery of urban memory.

不同规格的餐桌与经典简约座椅错落排布，特别定制的壁灯以精致肌理滤下柔和琥珀色光晕，伴随着绿植与云南鲜花的清新自然，开启每一个充满希望的早晨，在美食之旅中滋养身心。 

Tables of varying sizes are thoughtfully arranged alongside classic, understated seating, creating a flexible and welcoming dining environment. Custom-designed wall sconces cast a soft amber glow through their refined textures, while lush greenery and fresh Yunnan flowers bring a touch of natural vitality to the space. Together, they set the tone for a refreshing start to the day, where guests can nourish both body and mind through a delightful culinary experience.

24小时的健身中心如同一座悬浮于城市喧嚣之上的能量绿洲。尽量打开大面积的玻璃窗将春城的晨光与暮色引入空间，哑光金属器械的冷峻线条与砖纹墙面温润肌理形成微妙平衡，艺术创作画以跃动的色块呼应运动韵律，让每一次奔跑与拉伸都似与光影共舞。

The 24-hour fitness center serves as an energizing retreat above the city's bustle. Expansive floor-to-ceiling windows invite Kunming’s natural daylight and evening glow deep into the space, while the crisp lines of matte-metal fitness equipment contrast subtly with the warmth of textured brick walls. Vibrant artworks echo the rhythm of movement, creating an inspiring environment where every workout becomes an engaging interplay of light, energy, and motion.

客房摒弃冗余装饰，以原木色调、棉麻织物与柔光系统营造出松弛舒适、自然宁静的现代旅居氛围。设计保留原始建筑的厚实隔墙，巧妙转化为隔音优势。

The guestrooms embrace a restrained design approach, where warm wood tones, natural linen textures, and soft ambient lighting create a relaxed, comfortable, and tranquil residential atmosphere. The original building’s substantial partition walls have been thoughtfully preserved and transformed into an acoustic advantage, enhancing privacy and ensuring a restful stay.

二层的客房配备的户外小露台与微型花园，打破封闭感，引入自然光线与城市景观，形成内外交融的呼吸感，无形中将昆明的“慢生活”引入私密空间，让每一次的入住都沉淀为人生旅程中弥足珍贵的美好记忆。

The second-floor guestrooms feature private terraces and miniature gardens that break away from enclosed spatial boundaries, inviting natural light and city views into the interior. This seamless dialogue between inside and outside creates a sense of breathability, subtly bringing Kunming’s “slow living” philosophy into an intimate private setting, where each stay becomes a lasting and meaningful memory.

Four Points by Sheraton Kunming Dongfeng Square Hotel is a contemporary urban narrative shaped through the language of design. From the red-brick textures inspired by Yunnan’s red-earth plateau to the corridor artworks that capture the spirit of Cuihu Lake and the city’s historic streets, the hotel weaves Kunming’s heritage and everyday vitality into an immersive hospitality experience. Through a thoughtful dialogue between place, culture, and contemporary living, the hotel infuses every stay with a sense of discovery, making each visit a memorable encounter with the charm and energy of the “City of Eternal Spring.”
